This week’s writing lists two recommendations:

I just finished reading Jonathan Franzen’s book, Freedom. I became a Franzen fan after reading his previous book, The Corrections. The Corrections was published in 2001 and was written in a way that I have not read before. I loved it so much that I read it in two weekends before passing it along to my friends to enjoy.

Freedom too is a book I carved out time to read in large chunks. Similar to The Corrections, Franzen combines fictional people into current situations in a seamless way that is a joy to read. Franzen has a way of writing characters that are genuine, neither 100 percent good or bad that makes the reader want a good ending for everyone. He is also a master breaking down the characters traits, attributes, and qualities to a nuclear level and then bringing it all together again to bring us back to a level of realistic hope. Give it a read today.

The Ahh Bra

I have spent so much money, time, and effort trying to find a comfortable bra over the years. My skin is very sensitive so my clothes must be soft. This created bra issues because if I wear the lacy ones, the lace shows through the soft material, and of course the elastic bindings were always irritating causing rashes. In addition, I have sloping shoulders that caused bra strap drooping issues. When I tried razor back bras, they bunched up the shoulder muscles creating neck and back strain. Underwires, snaps and hooks also caused irritation.

This week, I tried The Ahh Bra. I must honestly say that it is the most comfortable bra that I have ever worn. After a week of wearing them for hours and hours and hours each day, I just ordered three more. With no underwires, no snaps, and no hooks to poke and prod me, and with straps that held securely with no drooping or sagging, I honestly forgot I had them on. Another great thing is that you order it by your top size. No guessing about the correct size, the correct cup size, etc. If you are tired of being disappointed by your bras, go to and check it out. You’ll still want to keep your pretty, painful ones for your special nights with your guy, but for all the other days and nights, trust me, you’ll be reaching for these again and again.

Check both these recommendations out and let me know what you think.
