TRAVELOGUE-DENVER-STAR DATE 2011.0813: Sweet Breezes

Week Two in Denver was as expected. I managed to close out 43 cases. Enough of that chatter though, except to say it was fun to dig back into the laws, regulations, and policies again. The weather this week was great – in the high 70s instead of the high 90s – so I borrowed a GPS from work and traveled about this weekend. Also, a friend from work and I watched the new movie, The Help; a very poignant movie that surprised me. Afterwards, lunch, a manicure, a massage, some foot reflexology and then back home…ummm, I mean to the hotel.

Since there really isn’t a lot I can say about work this week, I thought I would share some thoughts from two articles I read this week in Women’s Edition. To paraphrase from Carissa Van deWalle in Create What You Love and from Janet Van deWalle in What Do You Want? Quoting Abraham Hicks, the basis of life is freedom. The purpose of life is joy. The outcome of life is growth.  Remember, it is never too late to change the direction of your life.  To quote Anthony Robbins, I challenge you to make your life a masterpiece. I challenge you to join the ranks of those people who live what they teach; who walk their talk. So, don’t settle for what life gives you. Make what you want to happen your reality by following this guidance from Mary Anne Radmacher:  Live with intention. Walk to the edge. Listen hard. Practice wellness. Play with abandon. Laugh. Choose with no regret. Appreciate your friends. Continue to learn. Do what you love. Live as if this is all there is.

Tomorrow church and some more exploring; next weekend, a trip to Vail for me…Until then, fair winds and following seas my family and friends….you are loved in Denver.

  1. Dear Ms. Eyebrows, so enjoy your posts from Denver. Think I really goofed, though, because I sent you new cookies this past week. By the time you actually open the package, they’ll be like dust. Sorry ’bout that!

Our visit from the two grand-daughters (13 yrs. each) was most interesting and we are still recovering.

Colorado is a great state and an exquisite vacation spot, but we don’t recommend it during the Winter time. Enjoy it now!

    xoxoxo Sharon, Stormin’, and Mia

    1. Oh my. I’ll send an email to the receptionist there and tell them to enjoy them. How sweet of you though!

I’ll call you later and catch up with the granddaughter visit. Hugs to you, Stormin, and Mila….
