Overcoming weaknesses

From Colin Dye’s book, Satan Unmasked: Overcoming the Jezebel Spirit:

  1. Every human being feels a pressure to do what they know to be wrong or to not do what they know to be right.  Usually these come in 3 areas – sex, money, or power.
  2. Every one who tries to overcome their weaknesses, bad habits, and failings find a subtle, cunning, and persistent force against their attempts, especially in the areas of independent thinking, pride, ambition, sex, greed, power, materialism, fornication, adultery, debt, poverty, eating disorders, marital breakdown, or fear of death.
  3. Tools for success in these areas include discipline, forgiveness, and prayers for your leaders (to keep your criticism in check).

What areas are  you working on? What tools are you using?
