Master role models

Be a role model of kindness – a pleasant smile, a gracious comment, a spontaneous compliment, assistance to another who needs help, a kind word, a sweet gesture, a caring action, a compassionate attitude, a shared joy, or a helping hand.

Since the beginning all great teachers have preached love and compassion. A real master, a real teacher, a real guru will help you find your own path, showing you what is important for your own spiritual evolution. Wise teachers walk among us to show us the way, to ease the burdens on our spiritual path. Example: If you are in a crowded room and you hear a bigoted remark, what do you do? Consider using Maya Angelou’s example.  She simply says, “Stop it.”

Wise teachers can teach us skills and techniques. They increase our understanding of life, of death, of fears, of obstacles. They can point out the doorway, but you must be the one who goes through the door. Wise teachers remind us to be more spiritual by spending more time praying, giving, helping others, and loving.
