Life is much more manageable when thought of as a scavenger hunt as opposed to a surprise party. – Jimmy Buffett
Life is a magic vase filled to the brim, so made that you cannot dip from it nor draw from it; but it overflows into the hand that drops treasures into it. Drop in malice and it overflows hate; drop in charity and it overflows love. – John Ruskin
Life is a tightrope or a feather bed. Give me the tightrope. – Edith Wharton
I like all of these quotations on life. I make decisions in a manner described by Jimmy Buffett, and I try to remember to drop charity in life instead of malice as suggested by Ruskin. While I often think a feather bed life would be nice, I find it boring soon and start the scavenger hunt over again, more tightrope than bed. How do you like living your life?
