Attitude Rules and Thoughts

Rules:

  •  #1 Maintain the right attitude when the going gets tough
  •   #2 Realize that rough weather will not last forever. Remember, this too shall pass
  •   #3 Try to make decisions before the storm
  •   #4 Keep in contact with the control tower

There is no security on this earth. There is only opportunity. – Douglas MacArthur

Remember you can “fall forward” into success. When life kicks you, let it kick you forward.

You can tell when you are on the road to success. It is uphill all the way

Realize that faith is stronger than fear

  •   Write a statement of purpose
  •   Write specifically what you desire to accomplish
  •   Take action on what you’ve written

Take your mind out every now and then and dance on it. – Mark Twain

Desire increases with love. Love what you are doing and you’ll desire to do it

Associate with the right people

  •  Select a model to follow
  •  Expose yourself to successful experiences

Whatever

  •   weakens your reason
  •   impairs the tenderness of your conscience
  •   obscures your sense of God
  •   or removes your relish for spiritual things
  •  that is sin to you.

Remind yourself often:

  •   I am significant
  •   I am secure

Anyone can start, but only a thoroughbred can finish.
