Integrity, honesty, and authenticity of self is an important goal. Though integrity, honesty, and authenticity of self appear to be three separate goals, in reality it is just one. If one cannot be honest with oneself, one cannot be honest with others. If one cannot be honest with others, one cannot live an authentic life. If one cannot live an authentic life, one cannot live a life of integrity.

Continuing to challenge oneself personally by studies, readings, and examining one’s actions, and thoughts by the internalizations of knowledge created via those studies and readings, is how one grows in the areas of honesty and integrity. Growth in these areas creates an authenticity of self that shines from the person. This radiance of authenticity of self creates an aura of mastery around the person that draws people to him or her. “And the soul is like the eye: when resting upon that on which truth and being shine, the soul perceives and understands and is radiant with intelligence…”(Moser).

Learning to be the best person possible with the mind, the brain, the intellect, the body, and the soul provided to this personal spirit is a major step toward this intention.
