The 3-Step Cat Handshake

  1. Use the slow blink CAT I LOVE YOU from yesterday’s blog.
  2. Take off your glasses and present the tip to the cat to smell.  If you don’t wear glasses, tuck a pen behind your ear for a few minutes and use it.
  3. Take your finger and let the cat smell it. Then bring the finger to the spot between his eyes. When he pushes your finger up toward his ear, he is returning your handshake.
