Live in the Present

Chakra 7, the final one, is located at the top of your head. It is our connection to our spiritual nature and our physical self. It is the chakra of prayer. It is your ‘grace bank account.’ It represents your connection to the transcendent dimension of life. Primary fears include loss of spiritual identity and connection with people around us. Primary strengths include faith in the Divine, inner guidance, inner healing, trust, and devotion.

Our need to be devoted to a higher power has found many inappropriate surrogates – devotion to a corporation, political party, athletic team, street gang, etc.  Appropriate devotion is a extremely healing and comforting force. Pray at specific times of the day. It is not the amount of time, it is the quality of intention that counts.
