The end of the year: the end of No Blogs on Sunday

I’ve been blogging for 5 years. The first year was just getting acquainted with blogging. The other years were adding thoughts and musings. Last year, I decided to write a blog post every other day. When I moved to Buffalo in 2013, I found two notebooks full of notes from books read and decided to take a page from one of Jimmy Buffett’s songs, No Planes on Sunday and write a blog post every day except Sunday. Many of the notes did not withstand the test of time, but others did. I assumed I would run out of timeless notes around June. However, there were enough notes and enough new books  or articles read during 2014 to continue the commitment throughout the year. Thank you dear readers for coming along with me and for sending comments whenever something I wrote (from the books read) touched something in you.

For 2015, I’m taking another page from Jimmy Buffett and will be posting TTS. For those non-parrotheads out there that means Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays – Jimmy’s typical concert schedule. The subjects will be whatever are interesting to me at the moment. I hope you continue to find something here that interests you too. If you do, please let me know or share it with others. And if you have something you want to share or you want to be a guest blogger, please send it along to me and I’ll be happy to share it.

Hugs and Happy New Year’s Eve to everyone.  May 2015 be the best year yet!

  1. Thank you for a fascinating doctorate journey these past few years. I’ve even started the coordination of a cousins story book to keep the memories of a generation that is quickly passing. Love you sweetheart.
