Visualize Your Purpose

purpose doll

All experts talk about setting a goal and acknowledging the goal publically. Recently I learned about dharma dolls. Dharma means purpose, so I call mine a goal doll. The idea behind these dolls is that you write the goal on the bottom of it and you color in one eye. When you reach your goal, you color in the other eye. Being a visualist, I like this idea very much and started using them last year.

One doll had the goal “Lose the Buffalo 12” on it. Both eyes have been colored in. The second doll has the goal “Lose the DC 35” on it. It only has one eye colored in, but once I lose 6 more pounds, I’ll be able to color in its second eye too.

Will you use one of these? What will you right on it?
