See yourself without your walls of weight – Weight loss exercise 4

The real you is neither fat nor thin. The real you is spirit energy. The real you is a being of light with no material density. The more you identify with the light of your being, the lighter you will feel.

Fear weighs you down. The question is what are you afraid of? For many women, excess weight is tied with previous sexual abuse. Their deepest fear is being beautiful. As their fear is reduced, so will the body reduce itself.

You are here to love the world, and to let the world love you. The purity of your spirituality will heal the toxicity of your prior abuse. Your real self is eternally innocent and eternally chaste. Nothing you have ever done or was ever done to you can make imperfect what God created as perfect. What God created is changeless and forever.

This perfect spiritual image has a twin in the physical world, and she is waiting to be born. She expresses herself when you are at your happiest, healthiest, and most creative. Your body at its perfect weight already exists with God. It is the expression of your real you. Your overweight body is an expression of your suffering. Now is the time to lay aside the suffering, and give birth to the body of joy.

Many people put a wall of weight around them for protection. However, you do not need this wall. You have a mantle of blessing. The real you is like a file waiting to be downloaded. You download this file by applying love. Eating wisely is an act of love.

Another act of love is permitting yourself to want what you want. Many people overeat because they are attempting to plug the hole of other wants. This is spiritual starvation, and food cannot fill it. It’s not just your right, it is your purpose on Earth to become the person you long to be.

You do not long to be a victim. You long to be yourself – good, healthy, and creative. You long to have a non-obsessive relationship with food. You long to look into the mirror and like what you see.

Find photos of people who are your ideal size; ideal for you, not what the media says is ideal. Choose the size that brings you joy. Add your face on all the photos. Place them in your kitchen, on the fridge and the food cabinet; in your bathroom, on the mirror; and on your altar, see exercise 3.
