Old self – new knowledge – Weight loss exercise 15

The old self doesn’t go quietly. She screams, “I am your comfort; I am your strength. I am your power.” The wild and out of control emotions that you that you’ve struggled so long to contain, creating your wild and out of control physical appetites, have all been stirred up. As an overeater, you’ve felt this whenever you’ve felt, “I must eat now.”

Every time you break a link in this chain, you deserve credit for it. You will begin to understand one thought at a time, one healthier choice at a time. As you succeed, you will be successful not only at weight loss, but also as being in charge with yourself.

Just as you wash your body daily, you need to purify your heart daily too. Addiction is a spiritual disease. Prayer and meditation boosts the spiritual immune system. Overeating is any act of hysteria. Meditation is a strong antidote to hysteria. Your mind is holy, but you must stand in that knowledge.
