Unravel My Past Prayer

Dear God,

I give you my past

and ask that you explain it to me.

Unravel, dear God,

the cords of confusion

that bind me.

Free me from the bondage

Of blindness and misunderstanding.

Return me, Dear God,

to a sense of my body

that is sacred and not pure,

that is loving and not punishing,

that is joyful and not painful,

and that is healthy and not diseased.

Please, dear God,

undo my past, and return to me.
