River walk

I returned from a walk along the river with a friend, recalling how freely we had laughed with each other. It was a light-hearted afternoon. I can risk showing my eccentricities, knowing full well that nothing has ever shaken our trust and integrity. Our respect and unquestioned support throughout the years has confirmed our most vulnerabilities. Our friendship is a precious gift I carry with me weightlessly and thankfully.
