  1. Focus on feeling your basic goodness while breathing and being present
  2. Eat good food to nourish your body
  3. Act on thoughts, feelings, and impulses to understand, to care, to help
  4. Keep alert for opportunities to make the world a better place every day
  5. Welcome the loving teachings of Jesus, the Dali Lama and others
  6. Focus on healing and nourishing your self
  7. Find and develop loving inner mother, father, grandmother, or grandfather to heal childhood wounds
  8. Care about yourself, have compassion for yourself to heal your inner self-criticisms; learn to give yourself love, understanding, friendship, forgiveness and compassion
  9. Seek life-affirming professional help when needed
  10. Live and act responsibly with self-control and self-discipline in keeping with spiritual values and the highest values of society
  11. Keep growing forward
