Simple Way to Clean up Politics -You Have the Power

term limit

Those of you who follow this blog, know that I do not go political here.  I work for the government and, yes, it is easier to serve some leaders than others, but I serve them all. However, this year, I feel I had to write my opinion. I listen to so many people upset about so many things….but they are looking in the wrong direction.  Look to the U. S. Congress folks!  If you really want to change things, vote out those who have been there for decades and vote in a fresh batch of folks.

Are you really surprised these folks who have been around 20, 30, 40 years refuse to legislate term limits?  Why should they?  Send those folks home with a “thanks for your service” and vote in a new group of people. Then, demand those folks to legislate term limits.  If they refuse, vote in another group a people and demand term limits. And continue until the folks hear your voice. It really is that simple.

You’ve been looking for others to exert power to right the wrong, but to quote Glenda the Good Witch, “You’ve had the power all along.”  Use it!  Vote what is best for the country.  Vote to balance the power back to three equal branches of government.  The choice is yours…..what will YOU do?
